What is Aquaty and why was it founded?

Founded with a vision to democratize the venture capital value chain, Aquaty empowers founders, private angel investors and Venture Capital Funds in creating seamless and efficient investment processes.

Who should use Aquaty?

What is the advantage of AQUATY vs. other SPV providers?

Our industry-leading regulatory and technological setup enables to form Multi-SPVs, that can flexibly be used for unlimited deals with unlimited different co-investment structures. This reduces costs and process complexity in comparison to most other SPV Admins, that set up Single Use SPV to settle each deal.

Where can I use AQUATY?

AQUATY’s regulatory and technological setup allows for world-wide usage. You can either use AQUATY’s Standard SPV or any EU-registered SPV of your choice as investment vehicle. AQUATY’s solution allows you to co-invest with individuals or entities from all over the world - of course fulfilling KYC and AML standards.

What legal and technological structure do you use?

AQUATY enables you to use a securitization infrastructure for your syndicate. With this approach your SPV (special purpose vehicle) will directly acquire the equity assets of your target venture(s) and will issue securities for each single venture. These securities can then be bought by your investors in smaller fractions - fully digitally. This approach follows a legislation of the European Union for securitization. Furthermore, this approach let's you use one SPV entity for an unlimited number of deals, turning it to a Multi SPV.
